Use the built-in ethernet port or Wi-Fi capability in conjunction with your broadband internet connection or wireless network to stream the latest music from thousands of free internet radio stations as well as from online services, including Spotify, Pandora, Slacker, Rhapsody, and SIRIUS Internet Radio. While you can choose to use your computer while streaming audio, the Squeezebox Radio's Always On Internet Radio technology lets you access internet radio even when your PC is turned off. Further, allowing simple, universal access to audio files on your iPod or other MP3 player, the Squeezebox Radio sports a 3.5mm line-level audio input jack and cable for connecting to the headphone output on your portable audio player.
LCD screen, album art, Facebook . . . what can't this do?
These days, if any home electronics device is worth its weight in dirt, it's got to have an LCD screen. One-line digital readouts just don't cut it as interfaces for operation and setup anymore. Further, at night, you don't have to worry about being bothered by the light from the LCD display — a built-in ambient-light sensor recognizes light conditions and automatically adjust the panel brightness to fit the environment.
