Thanks to Yamaha's ultra-sophisticated CINEMA DSP technology, the YSP900 creates thrillingly realistic soundscapes in your room. And, to customize your experience, three CINEMA DSP programs are available (Movie, Music and Sports). The YSP900 is also ready for Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Pro Logic II (Movie, Music and Game) and DTS Neo:6 (Cinema and Music) sound formats. |
Automatic Room Calibration: It "Learns" To Match Your Room |
Ok. We all know that most homes are not identical. So how could the same Sound Projector sound just as great in your home as it does in someone else's? Well, the way you get this system to work for your particular room is with Yamaha's exclusive IntelliBeam Automated Calibration. The YSP90BL comes with a microphone that you use during setup; with the microphone, the system automatically sets the best beam angles and modes, for the best surround sound possible. This makes initial setup both extremely simple and acoustically perfect. And, if you're an audiophile and you like to tweak things yourself, manual setup is also possible. |
Don't Wake The Baby, And Still Get Great Sound |
During low-volume listening, such as late at night, dynamic range suffers and you may miss some sounds. The Night Listening Enhancer offers two settings: Cinema and Music, with three-levels within those choices, to ensure you don't miss movie dialogue or quiet passages, or lose overall surround spaciousness.
