WRAT is a Technological Wonder

Wide Range Amplifier Technology was developed to tackle the sonic demands of today's multi-channel digital audio formats like DVD-Audio, Super Audio CD and DTS. WRAT virtually eliminates the adverse effects of counter-electromotive force by applying an uncommonly low amount of NFB (negative feedback) - the final result is a flat response beyond 100 kHz, which means you get full bandwidth power across all channels. In other words, the M-282 Power Amplifier can faithfully reproduce any signal that you want to listen to, and do it more accurately than you thought possible! This exclusive Onkyo technology combined with a high-current, low-impedance drive and special discrete output stage circuitry make this amplifier an excellent choice for upgrading your 5.1 channel surround system into one capable of today's best 7.1 channel sound, like THX Surround EX.

Easy Addition

The M-282 is an easy addition to any system. It offers two channel audio output in addition to two channel input, adding multi-room ability to its list of advantages. Banana Plug speaker terminals are favored by audiophiles everywhere for the solid connection they provide and their easy acceptance of larger gauge, high-end speaker cables. Input Level Adjustment gives you the control you want over signal strength and Phantom Power On and the 12V DC trigger enable it to turn itself on and off as needed, working as a part of your system rather than a separate component.
