Yamaha's RX-V471 A/V receiver has the connections to manage all of your components and the power to drive your 5.1 speaker system with ease. First, four HDMI inputs and one output use the latest HDMI protocol, which supports 3D video and an Audio Return Channel (ARC). An ARC lets you send audio back to the receiver on the same HDMI cable you send video signal. So if you're watching broadcast over the air, the audio will play through your 5.1 setup without a separate cable. Component and composite connections on the RXV471 work with your legacy components. A USB port and mini jack let you connect your iPod, iPhone, or other portable audio player directly to the receiver. Compressed music enhancing makes your portable files sound better. And the RX V471 offers a minimum of 85W of power to five speakers. You'll get the latest in audio decoding with Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD Master Audio. Versatility is the name of the game with the RX-V471, so your whole home theater system is managed with precision.
