The HTR5730 is a full-featured home theater receiver ready for all formats. Major features include 5-channel discrete amplification (103W x 5 at 6 ohms), 29 surround programs, SILENT CINEMA, and a preset remote control. It delivers high power to five channels and provides Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II decoding. Yamaha's exclusive YSS-948 32-bit ASC LSI's provides circuitry that performs decoding with extreme accuracy. The HTR5730's vitally important digital-to-analog converters use an extremely high performance 192kHz/24-bit operation type. They perform accurate sound field reproduction for high quality multichannel sources, and for two-channel stereo, provide outstanding separation and precise musical delineation.
Delivering Superior Sound
The HTR5730 features 29 different sound programs that provide a total of 51 variations, so every movie and every piece of music will sound right in your home theater. Discrete power transistors rather than chips are used in the amplifier section to provide the cleanest sound possible. The amp delivers 103 watts each to five channels.
Inputs and Outputs
With two digital inputs (1 optical and 1 coaxial), the HTR5730 can accommodate digital sources such as DVD, CD, MC/CDR, and D-TV/CBL. The receiver incorporates 4 video inputs and 1 output along with 2 analog audio inputs and 1 output, so you'll be ready to hook up all sorts of components. A subwoofer output terminal makes it easy to hook up a powered sub to the HTR5730, and 6-channel external decoder inputs mean this receiver is ready to expand when you are.
