This Yamaha Aventage receiver is designed to provide exception sound and video quality from all your connected devices. It offers a wide variety of inputs and outputs, 1080p upscaling, support for the Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD Master/High Resolution Audio, and seven powerful channels of high-quality output. It's even sporting support for modern standards like 3D, Audio Return Channel, and lip-sync, and an included microphone to set it up. But any more, those modern attributes are all but expected of a receiver. Fortunately, the RX-A810 has a few tricks up its sleeve to ensure that it's not like your other options. For one, it networks. With a LAN connection, it supports streaming from a number of top providers as well as from DLNA-compliant devices. To be fair though, an increasing number of systems offer that support. Many, including this one, also allow you to use your iPod or iPhone to control the receiver over your network. But most receivers only let you do things like turn up the volume, change the channel, or switch inputs. With this Yamaha, you get a full array of controls including things like changing the current sound mode to fit your listening. This Aventage model also features Yamaha's exclusive Anti-Resonance Technology Wedge. This fifth foot reduces the amount of unwanted vibrations that can negatively impact your signal. Better yet, this receiver doubles up on both HDMI outputs and subwoofer outputs so you can enjoy your picture on two screens simultaneously or double your bass easily. And as if all that wasn't enough, the RX-A810BL has a super-cool on-screen interface you can use that even shows album art. What more could you ask for?
