They have used used multiple high resolution192 kHz/32 bit D/A converers operating in differential mode for the widest dynamic range. Utilizing multiple processors and DACs allow you to experience surround sound as you've never heard it before. Add the Audyssey suite of sound enhancement technologies, and you get receiver that is capable of shaping the sound to the room, with un-paralleled performance.

But great sound is really just the launching point for the AVR-4520CI. It handles 3D and 4K video, with improved i/p scaling and pass through for a future proof design. The AVR-4520 decodes the latest Dolby and DTS, while providing a proprietary Compressed Audio Restorer function to enhance your MP3 files. And it keeps you connected to your life in so many ways, with direct computer connections that are compatible with Windows 7, a DLNA 1.5 certification, Apple Airplay and photo streaming. And to make sure all this connectivity is easy to fools, the re-designed GUI interface and graphics keeps you up to speed with your connections.

But the real brains of the receiver show up in it's Zone configuration. The AVR 4520CI can bring sound to 4 different zones, with independent sources available for each zone. The AVR-4520CI allows for the connection of up to three different HDMI equipped displays; users can now send two different HDMI feeds to two displays at the same time directly from the receiver, eliminating the need for costly external switches and extra remote control complexity. HDMI matrix switching provides a true multi-zone audio/video distribution directly through the AVR-4520CI. One receiver can now function as a four zone command center, providing an impressive four separate sources throughout your home.
