Ready for iPods and for both SIRIUS and XM

Although the SIRIUS/XM Satellite Radio merger was approved, it's still going to be a while before there's a combined service. If you can't wait to have your favorite sports and personalities all in one place, Pioneer's SC09TX is ready for SIRIUS or XM, or both. On the receiver's back panel, there's an input for the SiriusConnect SCH1 antenna/tuner as well as an input for the XM Mini-Tuner that replaced the XM Connect & Play antenna/tuner. Each of these satellite hardware pieces is sold separately and neither is included with the SC09TX. Both satellite radio services require subscription and activation; fees apply. You can access and control either satellite radio device with the receiver's remote and on-screen display. Some XM channels are broadcast in Neural Audio XM HD 5.1 surround sound, for which the receiver has a built-in decoder. iPod users can navigate and select personalized music and video playlists with the SC09TX.
