These speakers are what I would consider a best bang for your buck. Out of the box they seem to be really well built. Mounting them was painless with the supplied hardware. Im unable to EQ my 2nd zone and these speakers still sound great!. Only downfall is that these speakers are very large and when mounted with the supplied bracket, it leaves very little room for articulation. Other than that, the output exceeds what my neighbors would consider acceptable.

Great pair of speakers with an excellent sound. Looked at the same pair at a local box store but found them here for more than 20 less. Very happy.

The Yamaha NS-AW350 speakers are perfect for any outdoor set-up. First off, if you buy them from Vanns they are $50 cheaper than my near-by Best Buy and their delivery was lightning fast. To top that off, the speakers sounded great with the Receiver I also bought from Vanns. The speakers produce a clear solid sound that easily rivals the best indoor speakers I have owned. While I never considered less wattage, Im really glad I picked these because they are perfect for my 20 ft X 16 ft patio. I cant crank them up too much or else the neighbors house will shake. Mine are installed in the overhead corner and came with easy to use mounting brackets. Bottom line is they are awesome ands highly recommended.

I couldn't be happier with these speakers. They are replacing Bose Environmental speaker that cost 4 times as much and they deliver better base and a much cleaner sound.

The speakers sound great. The mounting bracket holes are a little large and require some small washers on the screws in order to secure to the wall.

i bought these speaker because of the price, and i was suprised at there size and qualty. the sound is good and easy to hook up, the only thing is they do not come with screws to hang the mounting brackets on your wall. all the other parts and screws are in the box. these speakers will add a great sound to your area so get yourself a pair of them, you will be happy.

I got these for my barn setup, so they wont be in direct moisture, just humid and changing conditions. They work GREAT! Paired them with an older Technics receiver, so the power output and the power handling of the speakers is spot on! Sound great, and they dont bottom out with the sealed cabinets. I would like a little more low end oomph, but they are plenty loud and still sound great. Mounting brackets are easy to use. I might have to buy a couple more sets to use outside of our house!

This speakers sound pretty good. You cant beat the value. I have heard better ourdoor speakers but they were over $300 a pair Paradigm I think they were. For me, these are plenty when you think about how loud you will actually play music outside unless you live in the middle of nowhere.

Got these to replace some older outdoor speakers and what a difference! Nice treble, crisp, but not harsh. Very decent low end . Most outdoor speakers are lacking in bass response, but the NS350s will venture into the 50hz range, which is quite good for an outdoor speaker. And at the price Vanns has these its a definate bargain. Also, the mounts work very well, and are easy to install. Overall, highly recommended, and a real steal for the money.

We ordered the Yamaha NS-AW350 and when they arrived they were a bit larger than we expected. But in the end we hooked them up to test the sound and we loved them!! Eventually mounting them outside near the pool. We had our first summer party this past weekend with our new speakers and we received so many complements on how good the music sounded. Even when we are in the pool with 25 people yelling and splashing music was loud and clear. I would recommend these speakers to anyone.
Vanns shopping experience On-line purchase was quick and easy. When we placed the order it said that the speakers were on back order about 2 wees so we were surprised to receive them 4 days later. We will be definitely purchasing from Vanns again.

I am an audiophile from way back. I decided I needed some outdoor speakers and started doing some research on the net. The one common thread that kept coming up was the lack of bass on all outdoor speakers. I also read that the only way to go was Bose, Infinity or Niles. I listened to the Bose and the Infinity and was not impressed. The Niles OS-25 sounded like the best speakers going with response of 55Hz-21 kHz -3dB. But the sticker price of $500 made want to continue looking.
The only way to generate more sound is to move more speaker area. The OS-25?s have a 6.5 inch woofer and a 1 inch tweeter. The Infinity and the Bose have smaller speakers and they sound it. Then I found the Yamaha NSAW350 speaker, they have a 6.5 inch woofer and a one inch tweeter just like the Niles with and the response is 55Hz to 40kHz, -3dB, which is better than the Niles. OK these sounded like they were worth checking into.
I listened to and bought the NSAW350 speakers locally. These things sound great, for a bookshelf speaker that is, and the price is right. They are very clear and clean with enough bottom-end that when I start cranking them, the whole deck will vibrate from the sound level. These are a best buy in my book, you can?t beat the bang for the buck! I would love to put them side-by-side to a Niles OS-25 to see which sounds the best.
My recommendation Before laying out the big bucks for some of the more expensive speaker systems, you owe it to yourself to listen to these. I think they sound BETTER than the more expensive competition that I listened to. For the price of one set of Bose, Infinity or Niles you can buy two sets of the Yamaha?s, this will give much more sound volume and fill ? you won?t be disappointed !
