The speaker

Klipsch dispels the myth that bigger always means better by introducing the compact RSX4 satellite loudspeaker in its best-selling Reference Series line. For the first time, the Reference Series legacy of advanced technology and visual sophistication extends into a lifestyle category. The RSX4 combines performance, style and functionality for users seeking dynamic sound and an elegant appearance, but that require a small, unobtrusive speaker for their home entertainment systems. It can serve as either a left or right monitor, or as a surround speaker.

The 'highs'

The RSX4 boasts outstanding high-frequency reproduction by utilizing a 1" titanium-dome compression driver coupled to Klipsch's new round horn design. Raising the driver's efficiency, the MicroTractrix&trade horn molded into the front of the tweeter's cast-aluminum baffle controls its radiation pattern to minimize detail-blurring reflections from walls, floor, and ceiling. This means sharp and focused high-frequency audio performance.

The 'lows'

Complementing the high-frequency performance of its 1" tweeter, the RSX4 is designed with an advanced 4" woofer driver, achieving remarkable sonic detail. The woofer is a long-throw unit powered by a unique neodymium motor structure. Its Cerametallic&trade cone is lightweight with excellent rigidity, which dramatically reduces any resonance. As a result, the RSX4 is capable of robust bass extending low enough for comfortable operation with today's built-in A/V preamp/processor and receiver crossovers. Additionally, a vented bass-reflex design delivers enhanced low-frequency reproduction from a smaller enclosure.
