The B3's 6.5" IMG woofer and 1" aluminum-dome compression driver is coupled to an exclusive square Tractrix® Horn. It also features a rear-mounted port that increases efficiency and extends bass response.

Tactrix® what?

Tractrix® Horns have always been the key component of many Klipsch speakers. It's a horn-shaped device inside the speaker that sends sound effortlessly into the room. The Tractrix Horn's carefully calculated flare dramatically increases driver efficiency, allowing production of very high sound levels with minimal amplifier power and no strain or distortion.
