The F3 gets its performance thrills by employing dual 8-inch IMG woofers and a 1-inch aluminum-dome compression driver coupled to an exclusive 6.5-inch square Tractrix Horn. It also features a custom-sculpted port that is located on the front baffle near the floor for intense low-frequency extension. The F3 offers bi-wire capabilities allowing the use of one or two speaker level inputs as desired for improved connectivity.

Driving details

The F3's tweeter is a 1-inch titanium dome compression driver loaded by an 6.5-inch square 90-degree x 60-degree Tractrix Horn, which raises the driver's efficiency and controls its radiation pattern to minimize detail-blurring reflections from walls, floor, and ceiling. The dual 8-inch woofers have stiff, lightweight aluminum cones and rigid, low-resonance cast-aluminum frames, enabling them to generate staggering levels of bass without strain or distortion. All drivers are magnetically shielded to prevent interference with direct-view television sets.

It also controls the sound's directivity (90 degrees horizontal x 60 degrees vertical dispersion), ensuring excellent coverage of the listening area while minimizing detail-obscuring reflections off of walls, floor, and ceiling.
