The V5.1 is a versatile speaker, perfectly happy lending its incredible sound at the front of the room as part of your main home theatre or stereo set, or the back of the room by providing all the right emphasis to truly surround yourself with sound. Combining classic styling, and proprietary Energy technologies developed with their over 30 years of audio experience and research, the V5.1 Bookshelf monitors make a perfect addition to your home theatre system no matter where you choose to use them.

Sonus ex machina

To create such world-class sound, Energy utilizes a unique combination of technology and materials. Their isolated aluminum dome tweeter is paired with a 5.25" woofer that utilize Energy's patented Ribbed Elliptical Surround. This technology uses an ellipse-shaped driver surround to reduce distortion, improve efficiency, and increase movement resulting in a greater range of sound. Energy's Convergent Source Module (CSM) isolates the tweeter in separate housing in order to minimize interaction between drivers, reducing noise and allowing for greater power handling, as well as creating a wider dispersion of sound. Combining these two technologies creates a sensitive speaker that can easily fill your room with incredible, accurate audio.
