Engineered excellence

Sound is a tricky thing to get right, and an even trickier to get perfect. The engineers at Boston Acoustics have used a combination of traditional techniques and new technology to create their A series of speakers, featured in the A 2310HTS 5.1-channel home theater system. High-tech analysis of the inner workings of each speaker was used to find resonance problem areas, and based on the testing and analysis of these areas, each of the cabinets was reinforced with vertical and horizontal bracing to great reduce these resonance problems. So what does this mean to you? A more complete range of sound and improved imaging. To deepen bass, Boston Acoustics uses Deep Channel Design, letting bass travel further, plus BassTrac circuitry built into the subwoofer to enhance low frequency clarity. Highs are made crystal clear with 1" soft dome Kortec tweeters. Five-way binding posts make wiring a breeze, which is a good thing — sound engineering should be tricky, not enjoying it.
