Venue Series loudspeakers accurately reproduce even the most dynamic digital sources with utter fidelity, and an unconventional new grille design helps disperse all that great sound cleanly, throughout your listening space.

Balcony--Petite, But Pleasing To The Ear

Balcony performs like a pro, with technology developed by JBL's Professional division. Equipped with JBL's tried-and-true titanium-laminate tweeters and PolyPlas woofers, the speaker reproduces high notes with extreme clarity. The lows and mids, assisted by the dual FreeFlow flared ports, are loud and clear, without unwanted distortion or boominess. The Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguide ensures that every seat is the best in the house for sweet music and intelligible dialogue, or for just rocking out. Since the transducers were purpose-designed to work together harmoniously, JBL's simple Straight-Line Signal Path (SSP) crossover network divides the signal with minimal processing (and minimal opportunity to degrade the signal). Sturdy gold-plated, five-way binding posts provide a strong connection that preserves all of the nuances of the original program. The computer-designed, lock-mitred cabinet virtually eliminates distortion, and its slim profile won't overpower your room.

Cutting Edge Technology Combines With High-Quality Construction

JBL uses some of their most cutting edge technology to ensure that the Venue Series Tour produces the best sound. They combine that proprietary technology with some of the highest quality construction available.

Titanium-Laminate-Dome Tweeters
Reproducing high frequencies accurately at high listening levels requires transducer domes that are extremely light, extremely fast and extremely rigid. Titanium domes are all of those things, and JBL pioneered their use in professional loudspeakers. The Tour's tweeters reduce distortion and ear fatigue, for a more enjoyable listening experience at any volume.

Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) Waveguides
Developed originally for JBL Pro LSR studio monitors, EOS waveguides evenly disperse clean, high-frequency sound more precisely, across a wider listening area, to fill your whole room with entertainment. So sit wherever you're comfortable--that just happens to be Tour's "sweet spot."

PolyPlas Reinforcement
Stiffer woofer cones deliver more uniform motion, eliminating internal resonance to prevent annoying "sloppy bass." You want rich, accurate low-frequency response, and Tour delivers brilliantly.

Straight-Line Signal Paths (SSP) Networks
This crossover design provides the shortest route from teh input terminals to the transducers, which minimizes signal loss and noise. SSP ensures that a strong, precise signal arrives at each driver.

FreeFlow Port Architecture
The FreeFlow Port is a computer-optimized flared port that lets the bass kick freely. You won't hear any "port noise" with your sound. Just clear, deep bass.
