The incredibly low-profile OMNISAT v2 satellite speaker is the most versatile product in Mirage's recently refined, second-generation Omnipolar line. It can be used as a front speaker, a center channel, or a surround speaker. The OMNISAT v2 satellite can be mixed and matched with the OMNISAT v2 center channel and/or the OMNISAT v2 floorstander. Alternatively, a battery of satellites can be placed around the room as a complete home theater system. The amazing sonic performance, elegant design, and unlimited mounting options also make the OMNISAT v2 the ideal speaker for a dedicated two-channel stereo set-up, when space is at a premium. Add one of Mirage's OMNI subwoofers, and you have a phenomenal 2.1 stereo set-up. The OMNISAT v2 satellite features a 4.5" Polypropylene Titanium Deposit Hybrid Woofer and Mirage's proprietary 1" PTH Tweeter with OMNIGUIDE module, which delivers perfect 360-degree sound dispersion for brilliant, soulful sound reproduction.

Research proves that in a live musical environment, approximately 30% of what we hear is direct sound while 70% is reflected from walls, ceilings, and floors and only reaches our ears a few milliseconds after the direct sound. The human brain uses direct sound for identification and to calculate location, but uses reflected sound to determine musicality and spaciousness, as well as direction.? If this reflected sound arrives at our ears with inadequate high frequency content, then the reproduced music is identified by the brain as artificial.? What's Under The Hood

The OMNISAT v2 series speakers feature some of the finest components, materials, and manufacturing techniques available today. These speakers pack a punch because they combine innovative design and state-of-the-art materials into one revolutionary speaker. They feature the latest generation of OMNIGUIDE technology including the famous Pure Titanium Hybrid (PTH) tweeter - which first made its appearance in the legendary Mirage M1si, the world's best-known Bipolar speaker. PTH tweeters earned worldwide recognition for their crystal clear and lifelike high-frequency reproduction, low distortion, and wide dispersion. The PTH tweeter dome is mated to a compliant cloth suspension, eliminating the harsh ringing effect often found with metal domes. The new Mirage 4.5 mid-bass driver is constructed with injection-molded polypropylene, impregnated with graphite, carbon, mica, then titanium coated, to provide increased strength and rigidity in a super-light cone. High-quality, extruded-aluminum enclosures, high-end crossover network and wiring, and a stable base round out the overall build quality of these remarkable speakers.
