With a system frequency response of 60Hz to 20KHz, this system works equally well in 2-channel or home theater mode. The OMD-5 bookshelf/satellite speaker features a powerful 5.5" Poly Titanium deposit hybrid woofer with Mirage's patented Ribbed Elliptical Surround mounted in a beautifully curved sealed cabinet. Its beautiful, high gloss exterior allows it to be integrated into any decor. Floating above the woofer is a precisely angled cast aluminum version of Mirage's proprietary OMNIGUIDE module. This OMNIGUIDE module houses the latest generation of Mirage's world-renowned 1" Pure Titanium Hybrid Tweeter. The combination of these state of the art drive units, the rigid curved cabinet design and the latest OMNIPOLAR technology make the OMD-5 the best satellite speaker Mirage has ever built. Never before has a small speaker sounded so realistic, uncolored, detailed and balanced as the OMD-5.
