The 5-piece RM Series RM75 home theater system is a great complement to modern furniture and flat panel TVs without taking up too much space. Heavy-duty, non-resonant composite enclosures feature an elegant, high-gloss finish that creates the ideal decor accent. Polk speaker technology ensures superior system performance, delivering rich, full-bodied, big speaker sound. Mount the speakers on shelves, or next to your plasma or flat-screen television using their flexible wall-mount brackets. An included cradle supports the center channel.

What makes your compact RM75 sound system tick? First off, each speaker is magnetically shielded (see below to see why this technology is vital). With a system frequency response of 40Hz to 22KHz and 100 watt RMS power handling, this system works equally well in both 6.1 or 7.1 channel systems. Painted in a beautiful black color, this classy set integrates seamlessly into your current decor.

Magnetic video shielding

In the past it wasn't possible to place speakers close to your TV due to possible damage from the magnetic fields inside the speaker. This limited speaker placement options, which has become more critical with today's smaller rooms and home theater applications. "Video shielded" means that these speakers can be placed in close proximity to your television without disrupting the picture or causing permanent damage.
