The Acoustimass® module

Combining a 5.25" down-firing woofer driver and a front-ported, bass-reflex cabinet design, the Acoustimass® 6 system's Acoustimass® module enhances your home theater experience with dynamic, controlled bass audio . . . all from a moderately sized enclosure. The Acoustimass® module's innovative design allows for the reproduction of louder low-frequency sound without any additional resonance or distortion. Consequently, you experience the full impact of today's high-quality digital audio sources. Further, Bose® patented signal processing circuitry compensates for the human ear's reduced sensitivity to low-frequency audio at low volumes, ensuring that you still enjoy deep, balanced low notes, even when listening at very low, late-night listening levels.

With just a single, 2.5" driver each, the five Virtually Invisible® satellite speakers included in the Bose® Acoustimass® 6 Series III system serve up engaging, high-fidelity music without dominating your living room. Each speaker measures just 3" H x 3" W x 4" D, and yet when paired with the Acoustimass® module, appear to reproduce exceptional full-range audio for a superior home theater listening experience. Additionally, magnetic shielding of each cube speaker's driver allows for safe placement near your home theater's video display.
