Made to match
When you add a sound system to your home theater set-up, it's important for it to mesh well with its environment, which is why you need the Boston Acoustics TVee Model 20. This speaker set-up is designed to blend seamlessly with your existing equipment. The soundbar was designed as an ideal compliment to TVs with diagonal screen sizes 32" or larger. In addition, both the soundbar and the subwoofer have been redesigned to look great in nearly any décor. Finally, the wireless subwoofer will sound equally good wherever it's placed, so you can put it anywhere within 25' of the soundbar, as long as there is a power outlet nearby. This TVee set from Boston Acoustics is just what you need for your home theater.
But more importantly . . .
Sure, the aesthetics of your speakers are important. However, the world's greatest looking speakers would be useless if they weren't up to par in their sound performance. Fortunately for you, that's not an area the TVee falls down on. It features great 2.1-channel sound with a full 100W power rating. Each of the two channels in the soundbar sports a 6" x 1.5" driver with 25W output power. Then there's the wireless subwoofer. This beast uses a 6" woofer with a full 50W of power to push it for deep bass you can feel. Rest assured that with TVee Model 20, you don't give up performance for looks.
Just like that
You don't want setting up your new sound system to be a huge hassle that requires three bodybuilders, a registered contractor, two carpenters, someone with a PhD in electrical engineering, a lawyer to prevent lawsuits, a notary for the waivers, and a life coach for moral support. So don't settle for anything with less ease than the TVee Model 20. This pair might just be the easiest 2.1-channel system to set up. Simply plug one end of the included stereo cable into the TV and the other into the soundbar. Then, plug the subwoofer in to power outlet and you're good to go. And while the soundbar can rest easily on cabinets, if you want to wall-mount it, that's simple with the keyhole brackets. Plus, the system uses your existing remote, so you don't have to worry about adding another remote to your collection.
Newly improved . . . the bottom line
When Boston Acoustics redesigned the TVee set, they didn't just adjust the aesthetics. They also adjusted the price. At this new low price, the Model 20 is a value you just can't beat.

It is very easy to connect and set up the remote.
Unfortunately the sound quality is terrible. Male voices boom. The best setting on the subwoofer is almost off. Changing the subwoofer location does not help much. Female voices are unnatural and irritating. I suspect that the problem lies in the crossover. The builtin speakers on my Panasonic plasma are vastly superior to this system.

This model was everything we expected for sound, ease of setup and how it fit under our 40 Samsung LCD TV. Looks great. Good value. Vann's is excellent to buy from with their excellent service and knowledge of the products they sell.

I installed the TVee 20 - a very simple process - and programmed it to respond to my remote, also very easy, and enjoyed immediate improvement over my television sound. My wife said, *Thats ugly,* but when I demonstrated the difference in sound with and wthout the TVee 20, she decided it was not so ugly after all. While I am quite happy with this setup, I have two complaints - or areas for future improvement
1 The cross-over for the subwoofer is too high - you can *locate* the sub, so you need to keep it close to the television.
2 The volume steps are too large, i.e. the sound is a little too quiet, but one click up is a little too loud. Increments of half the current steps would be great.
