The CS480 is a beautifully-designed, high-performance home theater speaker system from JBL's Cinema Sound™ series. The system features four identical satellites, a matching horizontal center speaker and a powerful 125-watt subwoofer. The satellites feature JBL's advanced titanium-laminate dome tweeters and 3.5-inch drivers for unsurpassed power and realism. The voice-matched center channel speaker uses components that are identical to those used in the satellites for seamless pans, with two midranges for extra power and clarity in the dialogue channel. The attractive contemporary design of the system and its black high-gloss finish will complement any flat-panel television and decor of any room. Wall brackets are included for the satellites and center channel. |

JBL Cinema Sound's cellulose-fiber cones are reinforced with a polymer coating for uniform pistonic motion, eliminating internal resonances without increasing cone mass. That delivers tighter, more precise bass. Originally developed for Professional LSR studio monitors, JBL Cinema Sound's proprietary EOS waveguides evenly disperse high frequencies, delivering more precise stereo imaging over a wider listening area. An extremely thin yet extremely rigid titanium-laminate dome, reinforced with a foil laminate, ensures accurate, undistorted high-frequency response, even at realistic (meaning loud) listening levels. The computer-optimized geometry of JBL's FreeFlow bass reflex port in the powered subwoofer extends deep bass response while eliminating unwanted turbulance and noise. |
