Charismatic is the only word to describe it. Like the award-winning 2000 Series KHT2005 from which it evolved, the reflex-ported KHT2005.3 pushes the performance envelope of midrange home theater. The specifications tell part of the story: with parabolic enclosures computer optimised to eliminate cabinet distortions, the full range center and satellites all feature KEF's 4" Uni-Q array incorporating the 0.75" aluminum dome tweeter from the acclaimed Q series. Your new system incorporate the Uni-Q technology originally designed for one of the world's finest speaker ranges, KEF's legendary Reference Series. The great thing about KEF's patented Uni-Q driver configuration is that it disperses sound over a much larger area than conventional speakers, so that everyone in the room experiences 3D audio effects with the same clarity and accuracy. This is because KEF uses aerospace materials to make the tweeter small enough to mount in the acoustic centre of the bass/midrange cone, creating a single point source that frees you from the usual restrictive "sweet spot" and gives you far greater flexibility in where the speakers can be placed.

The cast aluminum enclosures of the satellite speakers are computer optimised to minimise internal resonance and distortion for a purer, cleaner sound. And being identical, there's a perfect tonal match between the front and rear surround speakers and the center channel. The center speaker can also be placed horizontally for better placement above or below the TV. The ingenious multidirectional base has been improved and now makes it even easier to place satellite speakers virtually anywhere - on any flat surface, at any angle on walls, or on the optional stands.
