I took a chance on these speakers after one of the salesmen HIGHLY recommended them. Installation was a breeze as the brackets allow for several possible mounting positions.
The weather proofing is WAY beyond what I needed, but would work wonders in applications that are more exposed to the elements. Specifically, the wiring posts are completely covered!
After installation I was was pleased with the look, but not with the sound quality. However, I decided to give them a solid break-in before evaluating. After 24 hrs of straight play, the woofers started to sing! These little 5.25 drivers pack some punch... Especially for their relatively small enclosure.
So far these appear to be well worth the money and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for outdoorall-weather speakers.

install notes Mounted in corners near ceiling of 18 x 12 covered porch with only one exposed side. Powered by the B channel of a Yamaha RX-v995 AV receiver using crappy 18 awg RCA speaker wire with a run of 70 moving soon and didnt want to pull the wire out when I leave.
