And the Synergy Series KHW5 in-wall loudspeaker helps make it possible. The KHW5 is carefully engineered using the latest technology to deliver superb performance and unparalleled value. It employs a 5.25" IMG-cone woofer to create remarkably clean, rich bass and a 1" aluminum-dome compression driver tweeter mated to a 5" square 90º x 60º Klipsch Tractrix® Horn for high efficiency and extreme reliability. Because the KHW5 uses the same technology and design features as the other Synergy products, it is possible to combine this architectural model with the line's stand-alone speakers and still maintain sonic continuity.

A wall of sound

A tweeter attenuation switch conveniently placed behind the grille tailors the speaker's output to the acoustics of its environment, and an IR punchout accepts standard infrared receivers. And the speaker's 8-ohm impedance is compatible with all amplifiers. The KHW5's white frame and rustproof, powder-coated aluminum grille can be painted to match any wall. With its superior construction and high-performance components that challenge comparable freestanding speakers, the KHW5 proves that architectural sound doesn't have to mean compromised sound.
