While the Sonance Symphony Extreme XSSTR's weather-resistant design takes care of the risk of temperature- and moisture-based damage, Sonance's Single Stereo Technology takes care of the space issue. Combining the single 6.5" woofer with two 1" tweeters and Single Stereo Technology, the Symphony Extreme XSSTR is able to reproduce stereo audio from just one compact in-ceiling speaker.

The Sonance Symphony Extreme XSSTR in-ceiling speaker is specifically designed for installation in locations that might experience high humidity levels or dramatic fluctuations between temperature extremes. All of the Symphony Extreme XSSTR's exposed parts are made of durable, high-temperature plastic which has a substantially higher melting point. In fact, this speaker can withstand temperatures as cold as -30°F and as high as 220°F. Further, stainless steel grilles are corrosion resistant, while a baffle O-ring and a neoprene frame gasket provide a watertight moisture barrier. The shock-resistant design is even able to resist strong winds, making this speaker suitable for use in marine applications.

You won't have big speakers taking up room in your space, but seamless, ceiling-mounted speakers that free up your listening area. Specifically designed for installation in the ceiling, each speaker in the Symphony Extreme XSSTR pair features built-in RotoLock® mounting clamps that make installation both quick and painless. Further, the aluminum grilles can be painted to match your listening area's decor for a truly seamless speaker installation.
