Definitive Technology Mythos Six Black Features

The Mythos Six offers a rare combination of style and substance. This stunning speaker is designed to match the profile and aesthetics of your flatscreen, plasma or other television as a sleek left or right main speaker. Even though the Mythos Six loudspeaker stands on its own, it is designed to work as part of Definitive Technology's Mythos Speaker System. For a high-performance multi-channel sound system, use Mythos table- and wall-mounting loudspeakers and Mythos floor-standing towers as your front main and surround elements combined with a matching Mythos center channel speaker above or below your television. The Mythos speakers offer excellent bass response but there is plenty of benefit to having your bass extended even deeper with a Definitive Technology SuperCube subwoofer. Or two.

Performance to match

Although designed to be included in a Mythos Speaker System, the Mythos Six loudspeaker produces great sound on its own. Audio will sound full and lush, with sufficient bass for casual listening. Audio elements will create amazing depth and sounds will seem to emanate from several feet behind the wall of your home theater. The Mythos System's exclusive narrow baffle design incorporates Definitive Technology's Planar Technology Pressure Driven Bass Radiators to enhance low frequency response and deliver dynamic wide dispersion sound. Mythos table- and wall-mounting models are engineered to be placed flush with the wall and close to the sides of your television and still deliver realistic sound that is accurate and utterly unexpected, with lifelike imaging and remarkable clarity.

On the wall or on the table

The Mythos Six has an extremely shallow depth and very thin mounting system to make it a perfect match for your flatscreen or plasma television. Not only is the Mythos Six designed to complement a flatscreen display, it's also designed so it can be wall or shelf mounted. The Mythos Six comes with easy-to-install matching wall-mounting brackets that allow it to hang effortlessly astride your television. It also comes with an optional tempered glass base to give it stability and style when placed next to a table-top television. You can easily implement the Mythos Six wall-mount loudspeaker with other Mythos system speakers in an acoustically and aesthetically stunning array. Five-way binding posts on Mythos components make connecting speakers to a Mythos Sound System flexible, convenient and easy.
