For a high-performance multi-channel sound system, add Mythos table- and wall-mounting loudspeakers combined with Mythos floor-standing towers for your front main and surround elements. All the Mythos speakers offer excellent bass response, but to create the all around best audio experience extend your bass even deeper with a Definitive Technology SuperCube subwoofer. Or two.

A center stage superpower

A center channel loudspeaker is the workhorse of your multichannel home theater sound system. Over 50% of movie soundtrack information in a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack mix is delivered by the center channel speaker. Although designed to be included in a Mythos speaker system, the Mythos Three loudspeaker produces great sound on its own. It is able to anchor the action to the screen with pinpoint imaging, and the reproduction of a wide range of sounds from whispered dialogue and detailed sound effects to fiery explosions and jet engine effects. Audio elements will create amazing depth and sounds will seem to emanate from several feet behind the wall of your home theater. The Mythos System's exclusive narrow baffle design incorporates Definitive Technology's Planar technology pressure driven bass radiators to enhance low frequency response and deliver dynamic wide dispersion sound. The Mythos Three is engineered to be placed flush with the wall and close to the top or bottom of your television to deliver realistic sound that is accurate and utterly unexpected, with lifelike imaging and remarkable clarity.

The Mythos Three is versatile enough to offer multiple placement options, including convenient and easy on-wall mounting, and aimable table-top mounting for completely customizable sound. Additionally, the Mythos Three is engineered to perform well even in built-in behind-the-screen mounting situations. It has an extremely shallow depth and very thin mounting system to make it a perfect match for your flatscreen or plasma television. The Mythos Three comes with an easy-to-install wall-mounting bracket that allows it to hang effortlessly above or below your television. It also comes with an optional tempered glass base to give it stability and style when placed by a table-top television and it's magnetically shielded so there is no risk of image distortion. You can easily implement the Mythos Three with other Mythos System speakers in an acoustically and aesthetically stunning array. Five-way binding posts on Mythos components make connecting speakers to a Mythos sound system flexible, convenient and easy.
