Get a feel for the music
Rich, deep bass adds so much to your listening experience. It gives music a foundation and adds to the rhythm. It makes special effects more impactful and emotional. It's the kind of vibrating, almost tactile experience you need to truly enjoy your favorite movies. Jamo knows that you want powerful bass. They also know you want a subwoofer that doesn't just lurk in your corner like a Franken-bass cobbled together from spare parts of other speakers. That's why they created the SUB 210, a compact, sleek, and elegant subwoofer with a powerful 8" long-throw woofer. A 200W amplifier and bass-reflex enclosure ensure that the rumbling lows you seek will resonate through your entire room. The auto on/off controls, cut-off frequency, and line-level input make it easy to integrate the SUB 210 with your existing sound setup. Packed with Jamo's acoustic engineering expertise, the SUB 210 is just the low-frequency addition you're looking for to fill your home theater with sound.

I purchased two of these subs to compliment two Jamo Surround Sound systems! Wow was I surprized, what a great little sub! Good lows and plenty of power. I have a huge living room and also a large media room and the size does not matter! This is a great quality sub and definitely goes quite well with the Jamo surround package. I really like the fact that its very small and compact so I was able to place it in a well hidden location without causing any reduction in bass or quality! It doesnt take much to drive the sub because its powered with its own amp but its driven by an Onkyo 509 receiver which is plenty of power for the entire speaker system. Jamo has my thumb up and of course the backing of quality Klipsch products! If you tune the system correctly you can get incredible quality of sound and pleasure out of this audio equipment!

I found very little info about this before I bought it so I figured I should leave a review. Bought this to augment a nice little system with a mini Onkyo integrated amp powering 2 Veritas 5.1 bookshelf speakers. The only real attributes that got me to consider this were that it was Vanns deal of the day and its dimensions happened to match the entertainment cubby I wanted to place it in perfectly. After a week with it, Im quite happy. Aesthetically, its unremarkable. Just a simple black box with sharp edges that Im assuming are really easy to damage, with a nice glowing blue LED on the front. Its not Jamos prettiest design. Theres an unprotected, equally unremarkable-looking 8 downward firing woofer with a disturbingly small port on the bottom. I was worried about port chuffing especially in its confined space, but that hasnt been a problem. This is a really decent little sub. Ive also recently bought a theoretically better 8 sub to compare it to, the Definitive Technology ProSub 60. The DefTech is definitely a heavier piece of kit, and it seems to be a bit more musical, and harder-hitting when you push it. But, perhaps not surprisingly, the Jamo rated at 38 Hz to the DefTechs ludicrously optimistic 25hz plays a lot lower. Def Tech really needs to back off on their spec inflation. Im using this sub for music only so far, and it hasnt shown any serious limitations. The Veritas are great speakers a little bright, and play surprisingly low for a 5 bookshelf, so Ive got the crossover set pretty low on the Jamo. Tried turning it up higher, and anything above about 80 hz guessing here can get pretty boomy. So it might not be the perfect home theater sub if youve got it handling all the bass with some tiny satellites. But its been a nice, affordable sub to round out what has become a great little budget music system. Way better than the Polk, etc. options in its price range. And Jamos such a lovable little company.

I was on the fence about this sub. I needed to add a sub to an existing set-up that included an aged Bose system. Once I realized that I could bundle this sub with the Jamo s606 5-piece system at half the cost it was a no brainer. I will be honest- when I picked up the box I was shocked. This is a small, very compact sub. You can put it just about anywhere. I was skeptical due to its size and still a bit concerned when I fired it up while watching a basketball game on TV. That was until a commercial pops up and it came to life. We switched channels to find something with a bit more action and it continued to surprise me. Please understand that this will not push in your chest, but it will enhance a current surround system ideal for small to medium size rooms with movies and music in mind. Impressive sound in a very neat little package. If you need crazy low loud bass, get something bigger, but for us it is a perfect fit.
