And really, who doesn't? With a high efficiency 250W on-board amplifier driving a 10" down-firing woofer, the KEF PSW2150 has the power to deliver heavyweight bass effects without sacrificing clarity. With ground lift switching and movie/music modes, output is easily adjustable to match the main speakers and room acoustics.

Add Some Boom To Your Room

A powerful, accurate subwoofer adds weight, depth, and intensity to the 3D sound image, and the output of KEF's slot-ported design has been increased by 10dB at 30Hz. The integral 250-watt amplifier drives a forward-firing, long-throw 10" bass unit with exceptionally low distortion characteristics for clean, well-defined low frequency response throughout the room. This generously extended bass can be fine-tuned to suit your set-up needs and preferences, with a variable slope switch to ensure seamless integration with the satellite speakers, a ground lift switch to prevent hum, and switchable cinema/music modes to provide extra punch for reproducing the full impact of movie special effects.

Get Your Ears "Boxed" And Like It

KEF PSW Series subwoofer cabinets are thermally formed in 'heavy' MDF, whose density makes it acoustically inert to reduce unwanted coloration of the sound image. Using laminated construction techniques, with inner and outer layers bonded to a segmented core in a giant press, the precisely radiused panels are exceptionally rigid. Massive internal bracing tailors the volume of each enclosure to the exact parameters of its drive unit and minimizes any residual panel resonance. As you'd expect, the standard of finish is exemplary, with a choice of... well, black. C'mon, it's a subwoofer... whaddya expect? Sandalwood? Something that matches your drapes? Hide it behind the drapes and enjoy the sound.
