As a member of the R-Series, your R-205 represents REL's first use of digital amplifiers; when partnered with new drivers that are higher in performance yet lighter in weight than their predecessors, the result is a new level of performance for the category. Hand built with quaity components and designed with innovative technologies, you can count on years of blissful listening from this subwoofer. The R205 allows for simultaneous connection of high and low signal levels, reproducing frequencies from the LFE channel and and an AV amplifier, delivering a deeper, more accurate sound. Its Set-Safe circuitry ensures protection of your R205, even at high volumes, so the drivers won't get damaged, and you won't hear unpleasant audio clipping. Easy to operate, a convenient front mounted control box, located just under a glass security panel, lets you adjust volume and crossover. The controls have been finely calibrated and are intuitive to use, so you'll find that setting up the R205 is almost as enjoyable your experience listening to it.
