I love it, I bought an Ipad2 the week before and if I had bought the Ipod first I probably would not have spent the money on the Ipad. I thought it would be too small but it is not and it is easy to use and easy to carry around or travel and the video is awesome.

This large flash drive allows you to load full size WAV audio files instead of the compressed mp3 files. Sound is way better with these large files. Youll also want to download FaceTime and TextNow so that you can use your iPod for video conferencing free with FaceTime and texting someones cell phone or iPod with the free version of TextNow. Reading ibooks is also easy although youll need reading glasses if you are of a certain age. This is a great product that has allowed me to stop carrying my laptop on business trips or vacations. If you must type large documents on your trip, then the iPad is the way to go or one of the super-light laptops with flash drives instead of regular hard drives.

We purchased 2 of these for our children. The 32 gb is just the right amount of storage. Its not to little or too much. Great alternative to getting them laptops. It does everything!!!

The I-Pod Touch which I have been learning to use for 2 weeks now is truly a master stroke of bringing complex technologies to incredible ease of use by a novice. The
amount of apps packed into that little box is staggering. The dual camera set up is great for movie making, stills.
I use it to control my Sonos system, and pick up e-mail.
I have a major dilemma.....
I bought the unit for my 87 year old mother who,after years of coaxing just got up on E-Mail last year who is taking to the I-Pod like a sewing machine! She has learned to use various apps, including e-mail, safari, photos,and the list grows daily! Her self esteem has skyrocketed just by her recognition of her ability to use this fabulous technology! I will solve the dilemma by going to the Kalispell store and buying another I-Pod Touch for myself!
THE REAL STORY DOESNT END WITH THE PRODUCT ITSELF. IT ONLY BEGINS THERE. THERE ARE MANY PLACES I CAN CHOOSE FROM TO PURCHASE ELECTRONICS. THE I-POD PURCHASE STORY ILLUSTRATES WHY I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL VANNS CUSTOMER FOR 17 TEARS
I bought the I-Pod from Vanns E-Store as it was Christmas time and I really didnt feel like going out in the crowds.
I figured that I would have to sit on hold for at least an hour waiting for the Sales Rep.
so I coffeed up and grabbed a paper to read as I was sure it would be a long wait.
What a waste! The phone was answered on the 2nd ring,
and I had to wait for at least 3 minutes before an incredibly polite, helpful, and most importantly very well versed sales person took me very carefully through the choices between I-Pods, I-Phones, and I-Pads.
As we spoke, I was very conscious of the time i was using up as i knew he probably had lines backed up.
He said, The most important thing to us at Vanns is serving one customer at a time, and making sure we do
the best job we can for him. That really blew me away, having had so many awful E-tail experiences.
After another 5 minutes of thoughtful discussion, I was guided to purchase a 32GB I-Phone Touch. There
was never any pressure to upgrade to the 64GB for another $100.00., or for that matter to buy an I-Pad.
If Vanns ever decides to go public, I would most certainly put my money where my mouth is. Well run companies are farther and fewer between these days.

Years ago when the iPod video first came out, I bought one for myself and my wife. Mine was stolen, but she still has hers and after all these years it was high time for a new one. I have to say that I am very impressed with all of the new features that Apple has packed into this device. Of course, as expected it is still a top notch mp3 player with a beautiful screen for video playback. What surprised me were features like the ability to use the internet to locate your device if it is ever misplaced or stolen. You also have the ability to remotely lock or completely wipe the device memory. Through wifi you can text, download music and video, browse the internet, use google maps, and tons of other things with apps from the Apple App store. For anyone using an iphone, the interface is very familiar since the os is basically the same. Anyone looking for a new personal audio device would do good to consider this iPod. I will most likely be buying another one of these for myself in the not so distant future.

I originally intended to buy the iPhone 4, but need it to be unlocked for out of country moves. Then I realized that the iPod touch does almost everything I want a phone to do. I can text using apps, and I can make phone calls using Skype or Facetime only when I have Wi-Fi!. So I bought a cheap Nokia phone and primarily use my iPod. It works really well, it is fast in performance. I now also read e-books on it, using primarily iBooks and Kindle, and it works really well! I have found though, that sometimes it looses my WiFi-connection even though it is still there, and sometimes the volume button isnt working. Also, in contrast to my old iPhone, the alarm sound is shut off if the iPod is on mute. Vann were really fast sending me the iPod, though they got it in stock a couple of days later than other stores.
