The built-in Auto Image Fix feature on the PIXMA iP2600 helps you produce amazing results for all your photos. First, it categorizes your images into one of five types (portrait, scenery, night scenery, snapshot with scenery, and snapshot with night scenery), then applies the optimal image correction accordingly. For example, it will automatically brighten faces that are backlit and under-exposed, and correct color cast to help ensure accurate skin tones. Canon Easy-PhotoPrint EX software helps you print beautiful photos or create and print albums, calendars, and stickers. This versatile software also privides high-quality image correction for red-eye, sharpness, and face brightening. |

Being ENERGY STAR qualified, the PIXMA iP2600 is 25% more efficient than conventional models. By using less energy, the iP2600 reduces greenhouse gas emissions and saves energy as well as money. The energy efficient Auto Power On/Off feature automatically powers off the printer after not receiving any data for a certain period of time. The printer than automatically powers on when it receives data from a PC. Under the RoHS compliance, this PIXMA printer restricts the use of hazardous materials like cadmium, mercury, lead, hexavelent chromium, Polybrominated Biphenlys (PBB) and Polybrominated Dipheny Ethers (PBDE).
