Capable of sending both IR (infrared) and RF (radio frequency) signals, the RF20 can be used in conjunction with the MRF100 receiver base station (sold separately) to control components throughout the house (up to 100 feet). After receiving RF signals from the RF20 universal remote control, the receiver unit converts them to IR commands and sends them to out-of-sight components via its built-in front blasters. The best part is, you don't have to point the remote, just push the buttons!
