Medium Range Reception

The TV36 is TERK's medium range UHF/VHF/FM antenna. Easy to install, it delivers free local HDTV programming (if, of course, your local stations are broadcasting it). The TV36 is constructed of high-tensile aluminum for extra strength to withstand extreme wind and ice loading. The antenna elements are protected with a high-quality polymer finish to protect the surface from oxidation. The TV36 even has a bonus mounting kit to accommodate chimney, attic and wall installations.

Why HDTV?

To get free local HDTV programming you need an off-air antenna. Imagine seeing the expression on a wide receiver's face as he catches the ball, or even seeing the details on the faces in the crowd. That's HDTV, it's high resolution digital television (1080-line interlaced, or 720-line progressive) that's 6x sharper than regular TV, with the ability to display widescreen 16x9 theater style content and Dolby Digital Surround Sound. Today there are 1000 stations and close to 200 markets broadcasting DTV (digital television) signals. Many of these local broadcasts can't be received through satellite dishes or cable. You'll need to complement those systems with an off-air antenna. Having a quality outdoor antenna will make getting local HDTV programming possible. It wll also make it free.
