Fortunately, the TiVo Slide Remote has built-in Bluetooth, and includes a Bluetooth receiver, so you can control your TiVo unit, even when you can't see it. Better still, it can learn from your existing TV or receiver's remote how to do certain commands. In other words, you have total control. Wield it wisely.

Guiding light

With some remotes, turning the lights off to enjoy the movie is a risky move. The Tivo Slide is not one of the remotes. It features a light sensor and backlighting, so when the lights go down in the room, they come on in the remote, making it easy for you to adjust the volume, change the channel, or complete any other standard operation!
