Made by fanatics for fanatics
Love is a powerful word, but perhaps not quite powerful enough to describe how you feel about your music. If you're ready to take your listening to a professional level, Monster's Turbine Pro Audiophile In-Ear Speakers are the clear (pun intended) choice. The folks at Monster know sound. They're a group of audiophiles that accept nothing less than the best sound from their equipment. And these . . . well, these are their magnum opus. The Turbine Pro set will take your listening beyond where it's ever been, beyond where you've ever imagined, to a place where it's not just listening, but experience. With them, you'll hear details you've never heard, feel emotions that were never there with other headphones. From the punch of a hip-hop bass track, to the sustained vibrations of a large pipe organ, to the subtle intricacies of a jazz trio, to the scrape of calloused fingers on acoustic guitar strings, to full bands moving from complex pianos to booming crescendos, to hearing the timbre of your favorite singer's voice, the Turbine Pros deliver. From the lowest bass to the shrillest treble, these Pro earbuds deliver the clarity, detail, and dynamic range you would expect from today's best studio equipment and reference loudspeakers. With the Turbine Pro pair, you'll enjoy the sound the artist wanted you to hear. These are easily the next best thing to actually being there. If you demand great sound from music, this set is worth every penny.
How they do it
Building headphones that sound great enough to please unapologetic audiophiles is no small feat. To get the sound they do from the Turbine Pros, Monster applied decades of audio experience to the design process. They started off with a custom ultra-wide range driver. The driver was then placed in a high-density metal casing that absorbs unwanted vibration for a non-resonant acoustic chamber. Contrast the casing on the Turbine Pros with many common earbuds that use plastic casings that can add unwanted vibrations and distortion to your music. The cable uses ultra-fine MicroStrand conductors for fine detail and faithful audio reproduction. Monster then added their patented Magnetic FluxTube to the cable (yes, the same sort of Magnetic FluxTube they use in their best speaker cables). The cable connects to your device with 24-carat gold-plated contacts for superior signal transfer and corrosion resistance. The last piece to the puzzle, though certainly not the least, is the tip they use. Monster includes a variety of sizes and shapes of eartips with each pair of Turbine Pros. These advanced tips are designed to fit any size or shape of ear canal, filtering environmental noise while forming a seal to play your music with excellent clarity and range. Best of all, they're comfortable enough to wear for hour after hour.
Good things come in threes
If you've got an iPod or iPhone, you know how inconvenient it can be just to change the track while you're out and about. You have to go through all the trouble of digging out your player, unlocking it, changing the tune, re-locking it, and putting it back. Unfortunately, the process is just as complicated for simply switching the volume. To make your life a little easier, these Turbine Pro in-ear speakers have an in-line ControlTalk module with buttons to let you switch your music up without all the hassle. Plus, if you're using a device that supports voice, the ControlTalk module has a mic to pick up your voice. But that's not the only convenient feature you'll love about the Turbine Pros. They also include a cable management system to control sway, keep the weight off the buds, and reduce tangles from storage. Completing the convenience trio, a thin right-angle connector hugs your player so the connector's never in the way. The airplane-friendly design also minimizes strain at the connector for a longer lifespan.
Let us ease your troubled mind
The Turbine Pros aren't cheap, we know. And while you don't want "cheap headphones", it's understandable to be hesitant to step all the way up to these Pro in-ear speakers. However, Monster's making that commitment a lot easier by giving you some serious peace of mind. They know that the Turbine Pros, with their solid metal housing, innovative connector, and strain relief system will let these in-ear speakers last a long, long time, and they're willing to back that up. The Turbine Pros included a limited lifetime warranty, something very few other sets of headphones do (even the high-end ones). When you consider how often you'd have to replace other earbuds, these are the much better buy long-term. But that's not all. Monster knows that as much as you'll love these in-ear speakers, there's a good chance that at some point, you'll be a little rough on them; most people are. With virtually all other headphones on the market, the warranty doesn't cover "Whoops" so if you break it, you buy it. With the Turbine Pros, you get one free replacement set during their lifetime if you break 'em. Now that's what we call peace of mind.
What's in the box?
The Turbine Pro In-Ear Speakers include 5 different sets of tips (2 styles, 3 sizes total), not one but two luxurious protective cases, a cable management system, and of course, the Turbine Pros themselves.
