The Max 1500-UPS has an indicator for every monitoring need:
The Power On Indicator LED illuminates when the utility condition is normal and the UPS outlets are providing clean, protected power.
The Unsafe Voltage Indicator LED illuminates to inform you that an unsafe line voltage is present and that the UPS has switched to battery powerthis could be either an over-voltage or Power Switch under-voltage.
The Line Fault Indicator LED illuminates to warn you that a wiring problem such as a bad or missing ground or a reversed wiring exists within the AC receptacle.
The AVR Indicator indicates that the UPS is operating in automatic voltage regulation mode. When the led is illuminated continuously, it indicates an input over-voltage and the UPS unit reduces the voltage to the normal operating range. When the led is flashing, it indicates that the input line voltage is low and that the UPS is increasing voltage to the normal range.
A Load Level Indicator gives you a visual indication of the UPS load by percentage.
The Battery Mode Indicator illuminates during utility failure or an unsafe voltage condition, indicating that the battery is supplying power to the connected equipment. And a Battery Level Indicator provides a visual indication of the battery charge.
