It's UL approved and with a VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) and LED status indicators, you get all the information needed to assure the system is running at optimal settings. Additional features include pure sine wave backup battery output, sequential turn on/off, isolated filter banks, and dataline surge protection. A USB data port jack enables the S10 to communicate with the included PowerChute Personal Edition software. If the unit is also protecting a home computer, the software will automatically save files and gracefully shutdown the operating system if the S10 is about to shutdown due to a low battery condition. Additional batteries can be added to extend backup time. The S10 is especially recommended for receivers and subwoofers. |
