Better known as Hypalon, chlorosulfonated polyethylene synthetic rubber from DuPont Performance Elastomers resists chemicals, temperature extremes, and ultraviolet light. This is good stuff. The attaching loops for the adjustable shoulder strap on the Apex 60 AW are made of Hypalon and will remain serviceable until the end of time. Lightweight, rugged, and equipped with a built-in All Weather Cover to protect against inclement weather, Lowepro's Apex 60 AW has a convenient, single-compartment design to accommodate an ultra-compact digital camera, memory cards (in a special pocket), and batteries or small accessories. A SlipLock attachment tab lets you connect this pouch securely to a belt or a larger bag. The exterior is nonabrasive, water-resistant 210D/420D nylon, while on the inside a soft microfiber lining and a divider pad guard against scratches. |
