The Ultimate Foundations UF26 is a 26" stand for medium-to-large booshelf speakers up to 35 lbs. Its stable triangular base is made of minerals, resins, and glass for superior resonance damping. Three textured gray steel pillars support a 6 by 6.5" steel top plate with brass speaker isolation studs for a stable, non-slip surface. Or you can choose neoprene speaker pads for stable speaker isolation. The pillars can be filled with shot for added mass and integrated Poron damping rings isolate the speaker from vibrations in the floor. To fine-tune acoustic properties, the UF26 was tested in an anechoic chamber. The base includes carpet spikes and pads for use on any floor surface. The UF26 was designed in collaboration with the renowned industrial design firm, Cramer Studio. Heavy-gauge steel construction provides extreme rigidity and stability, and a spackled gray finish blends subtly into almost any decor. |
