The Denon ASD-51W iPod dock gives you the ability to connect your iPod to your Denon home theater using either a wired ethernet connection or wireless technology. Not only can you stream a variety of audio formats from your iPod, but you can also stream internet radio or Rhapsody and Napster audio with a separate subscription. The ASD-51W is compatible with a variety of iPod nano, classic, touch, and iPhone models, and even recharges your iPod's battery while you listen.

Add a little cover art into the mix

While music is, for the most part, an auditory experience, there's a significant visual element, too. For decades, album art has been just as iconographic as the music found on the LP or CD. Using the ASD-51W's S-video ouput, you can view cover art on your home theater display while you listen to your favorite tunes.

Party Mode!

You did what any reasonable person would do when setting up a home theater . . . you went all out. "All out", here, means that you set up a networking-capable Denon home theater system capable of distributing audio to compatible devices throughout your home using Denon's Party Mode multi-zone streaming. And, because a networked iPod is an essential component of any home theater, Denon has outfitted the ASD-51W with Party Mode compliance. Once connected to your network-capable Denon home theater, you can distribute your iPod audio to compatible components in up to five different rooms. In other words, it's time to party.
