Bose's® Portable SoundDock® is kind of like an opera singer. The classy slim look comes packed with the high performance sound Bose is known for. Only the sound isn't confined to your house anymore; it's free wheelin', like you. Waveguide acoustic technology and powerful neodymium speakers produce rich sound and allow for a thinner profile. The proprietary system design reproduces audio with higher quality and more efficiency than most other battery-powered speaker systems for fuller, more lifelike sound. Sometimes the splitting glass opera singer volume isn't what you want first thing in the morning. Take control of your music's dynamics from near or far. The included remote control not only adjusts the SoundDock® Portable system's volume, but also controls basic iPod functions — including playlist navigation — from almost anywhere in the room. Volume control buttons are inconspicuously placed on the side of the system, letting you adjust your music's volume even if the remote is not readily available. Ramping volume feature automatically turns the volume up gradually when it's first turned on. So pick up your conducting baton, or remote control, and call forth those early morning pianissimos.

Portability made easy

Ready for a road trip? Go ahead, toss the SoundDock® into the backseat and travel with Bose sound. The rotating dock folds neatly inside the main enclosure so the SoundDock® Portable system can easily slip into the SoundDock® Portable bag (an optional accessory).
