First let me thank you Vanns , always a pleasure to do business . Second let me share my experience with the cable .
So I bought it thinking that I will connect it with my Ipad . Apple said is compatible with the Ipad. Correct compatible if you think in terms of connectivity . This cable has a good design and It does 3 things provide an ac power to supply your iPadiPod , also a stereo sound, and video component.
Power supply is a good choice , sound is not bad , but the real thing is the video ? Is a very low resolution , the imagine looks choppy on a HDTV. I didnt even bother to hook it with the projector and the video cant be seen to audio video receiver probably because of upscaling incompatibility .
So if the main reason is the output video with this cable ...just
forget it. If you have a dock, it does eliminate the need having one cable for sound and one for chargingsyncVGA .
I returned the cable due to the fact of poor video and incompatibility with the av receiver and weak analog sound .
Plus is not cheap.
Thanks to Vanns for free returning shipping and excellent customer support .

The Apple site doesnt even allow reviews for this product. Hats off to Vanns. I admit not having many movies on my Ipod, but the ones so far do not reproduce great video quality Maybe I just need to download a higher quality video. But to the main reason I purchased--I wanted the album view on my television so I could use a remote dock and thumb through my albums. It does not have the album view It only has the movies and videos. At this price, Apple should tell you exactly what the cable does and does not do or what your Ipod will or will not do once connected to a component setup.
