The AccelerCare drying system keeps track of how fast a load of clothes is drying, and sense how hot the air should be once the clothes are dry. Once it reaches the proper level, it stops the load, saving time and energy (and keeps your clothes from getting damaged or shrinking). Of course, while the washer is keeping track of how long your clothes are drying, Whirlpool knows that you've got other things to do; the WrinkleShield Plus option keeps your clothes from developing wrinkles by rotating them every few minutes, for up to two-and-a-half hours, or until you open the door to unload. Direct injected steam gives you the ability to quickly refresh those "not-quite-washer-ready" work or school clothes with a quick 15 minute tumble, keeping the number of loads you have to do down.
