And aluminum is one of the most energy-efficient materials for cooking, so you can count on quick, even heat distribution from the grill, especially if you pair this grill with an induction cooktop. Two layers of non-stick coating ensure your food doesn't cook on. But the non-stick coating also means you need little or no butter or oil to grill foods, so you can make healthier foods with less fat easily, especially since the grill's ridges prevent oil or grease from seeping back into your food. Remove the handle? You see here, Fagor's SGI05 has a rather unique handle. For starters, the comfort-grip is green. You may be thinking that if the handle needs to be removed every time things start to heat up, it should stay out of the kitchen. But believe us, the handle CAN stand the heat. It's rated safe up to 370 degrees Fahrenheit. While that's not quite the blistering 500-degree mark of the pan, that's a lot hotter than you'll want to handle with a bare hand, so the handle melting really shouldn't be a big concern.
