The Denon AVR-2113CI marks my first entry into mid-high end AV gear. This receiver performs amazingly with the rest of my setup Panasonic 60 ST50, Energy CF-50CC-10CB-5 speakers, Outlaw LFM1-Plus sub. Setup was a breeze, allowing me to get my components setup, calibrated and off and running within an hour.
Pros
Solid build quality
Easy setup and calibration
On-Screen menu system with overlay is well layed out and easy to navigate
Stellar Audio and Video performance
Cons
Not really a con, just a comment, I use my dvd player to stream Pandora and it was a bit tricky to figure out how to switch to Stereo audio for that use. After looking through the manual off the provided CD without finding what I was looking to I resorted to calling Denon directly. I was on hold for less than ten seconds and had my answer just about as quickly. For those wondering, simply hold down the Movies or Music buttons at the bottom of the remote for 3-seconds and a selection option will pop up. Multi ch in for 5.17.1 depending on what your source is outputting or Stereo will come up for you to choose.
