Turn one HDMI input into four
Some home theater enthusiasts might better be classified as "fanatics", and they specialize, too. Some take their system's audio to the limit, investing in more and more, bigger and bigger speakers. Others, their passions lie with size — move over, 40" and 50" -class HDTVs, nothing under 60" makes the cut. You, however, revel in components. The more components, the more epic and versatile your home theater system becomes. The only problem is, at some point, you start running out of connections, especially advanced HDMI inputs. Few HDTVs or receivers come with more than four or five, but you've got a Blu-ray player, DVD player, DVR, satellite box, a couple of gaming systems, and . . . uh oh, you've exceeded your five HDMI inputs. Time to add another component: the Sony BRAVIA DMX-SW1. This HDMI module lets you convert one of your Sony BRAVIA HDTV's HDMI inputs into four. Use one of the DMX-SW1's five HDMI inputs to connect to your receiver and then use the remaining four inputs to connect additional components. Even better, because this HDMI module carries the BRAVIA name, it mounts seamlessly to the back of select Sony BRAVIA HDTVs and it integrates automatically with BRAVIA HDTVs' menu navigation systems. You can select any of the DMX-SW1's inputs using your BRAVIA HDTV's remote control.
