After waiting years to get the French door refrig I am not as satisfied as I had hoped to be. When the ice maker makes ice, it sounds like a bomb when the ice cubes fall down. It is very loud and annoying! When the motor starts up, it sounds like a delivery truck pulling into our driveway. On the plus side I love the bottom freezer and the size of the water dispenser. I also like the space inside the refrigerator part. If I could have heard how loud this refrigerator was , I would never have purchase it.
