I purchased an open box version of this item. It was an incredible value and the dishwasher is excellent. It is quiet, energy efficient, and leaves the dishes clean as a whistle. The only downside is that it takes a long time, but that is the tradeoff for the other features and well worth it. You can set it to run overnight and your dishes are clean in the morning.

This is a fine replacement for my old Whirlpool which lasted over 12 years before finally beginning to break down. The streamlined design makes excellent use of every available space and I like that the center water distributing column on the bottom has been dropped down so that the first loading shelf has more uninterrupted room for larger pots and baking trays. The tall design also allows plenty of space on the top shelf for taller items such as small pans, coffee carafe, etc. A silverware holder which can be placed on the inside door was a must for me to save space but can also be optionally placed anywhere on the lower rack.
The machine is very simple to use with easy push-button controls and many options. It operates very quietly in all cycles and the smooth exterior and flush surfaces make for easy cleaning. Very nice!
