For starters, a 7.4 cu. ft. drum size and 6th Sense technology ensure that laundry day will go by a lot quicker. Better yet, the AccuDry sensor-based system uses 10% less energy than AutoDry dryers. The door is really convenient too. Rather than swinging open, this "hamper door" folds down so you have a space to fold your clothes as they come out of the dryer. If you're not there the second your duds are done, that's not a problem. While most models begin setting wrinkles in the second the cycle stops, the WED5500 periodically spins them for up to 90 minutes to make doing laundry that much easier.
